A compendium of infrequent thought...
Welcome to the world of blogging and St. Blog's parish!I have the Stella Borealis blog in Minneapolis and I see you have already linked to me (Thank you!) and Terry Nelson's AbbeyRoads (he's a pal o' mine).I was born in Duluth (1942) and my greatgrandfather was a founding member of St. Mary Star of the Sea back when it was a Polish parish. If you have any interesting Duluth news that might be of interest to other Catholics (or Minnesotans), please let me know. It's makes my life easier. You can find my email address in my personal profile on Stella.Ray Marshall
Hey Ray,Thanks for writing. I like your blog and the information contained within it. Terry's blog posts are informative and amusing yet I continue to have a feeling there is so much more depth than what is revealed. I'm glad to see expanded posts. He works hard on maintaining these sites no doubt.Born in Duluth... interesting. I have Polish heritage as well (Grandmother). The Duluth community was probably a lot different than it is today. Fortunately, it's still focused on a variety of important issues. I was born and raised in the twin cities so we have a MN connection in addition to our faith it seems. St Mary's continues to be a wonderful parish and it's adoration chapel is one of the shining stars of our Diocese. I'll try to keep in touch with upcoming Diocesan news, but you can always check out the Diocese of Duluth /Northern Cross website. As you know, we're excited for the installment of a new bishop. http://www.dioceseduluth.org/index.php?PageID=217Thanks again Ray,-Paul
